El T\u00edtulo VII exige que, cuando la pr\u00e1ctica o observancia religiosa genuina de un empleado entre en conflicto con una norma del lugar de trabajo, el empleador debe adaptarse al empleado ajustando o modificando la norma para permitirle adherirse a su pr\u00e1ctica o observancia religiosa. La \u00fanica excepci\u00f3n es cuando la adaptaci\u00f3n al empleado impondr\u00eda una dificultad excesiva, o un costo superior al m\u00ednimo, al empleador. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Algunos ejemplos de adaptaciones religiosas en el lugar de trabajo son:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Permitir que un agente de polic\u00eda que es adventista del s\u00e9ptimo d\u00eda, una religi\u00f3n que celebra un d\u00eda santo de descanso sin trabajo desde la puesta del sol del viernes hasta la puesta del sol del s\u00e1bado, cambie de turno con sus compa\u00f1eros de trabajo.;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Permitir a un vendedor musulm\u00e1n utilizar una peque\u00f1a sala en la parte trasera de una oficina corporativa para rezar cinco veces al d\u00eda, una pr\u00e1ctica de la fe isl\u00e1mica.;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Negarse a exigir a un empleado ateo que asista a una reuni\u00f3n matutina en la que se ofrece una oraci\u00f3n aconfesional; o<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conceder a un empleado jud\u00edo de una tienda de comestibles que lleva kip\u00e1 o gorro una exenci\u00f3n de la pol\u00edtica habitual sobre el c\u00f3digo de vestimenta que proh\u00edbe llevar gorros en el trabajo.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Los empleadores pueden rechazar las adaptaciones religiosas si estas causan una dificultad excesiva, lo que se ha interpretado como un costo superior al m\u00ednimo.
